Phoenix Fit but Don't Get Hit
Juniors (Age 10 - 16)

Seniors (Age 17 and over)

 

These classes are non-contact and are about health and fitness, perhaps developing some of the Bairns or seniors (under 40) into competitive boxers, but are also good fun!

​

People who attend these classes will train alongside our Carded Boxers so they will increase overall health and fitness, improve strength, balance, and coordination. These sessions also help increase confidence, in most people.

 

 PLEASE NOTE that beginners & keep fit participants DO NOT get pad work or sparring.

BEFORE ATTENDING ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST:​

TIMES:

Mon - 6.30 - 8pm (All ages)

Wed - 6.30 - 8pm (All ages)

BOOKING:

No booking needed as long as

1. You are a current member

2. You have completed a PAR Q health questionnaire for the current boxing season

3. You have an up to date affiliate membership with Boxing Scotland that we have a copy of,

OTHERWISE you MUST email the club, as per the memberships page, before attending 

​

​COST:

- £4 per person per session pay cash at gym

​        - If parents are unwaged - please contact us to discuss this privately 

 

Carded Boxer Training

These classes are for people of all ages but ONLY those who have already been selected by the coaches and officials to compete, have had a medical by a Boxing Scotland doctor and now have a boxers record card

 

Please note - in order to get selected for this group requires dedication, commitment, and evidence of skill development over a period of time, usually a minimum of 6 months but sometimes more, although there are NO guarantees of selection

ALL BOXER GROUP MEMBERS MUST:

​- Make sure they have completed a health questionnaire for the current boxing season 

Renew their boxer registration from 1st August each year (this costs £15 per year but please note 1st registrations cost £25)

​

TIMES:

Mon - 6.30 - 8pm (All ages)

Wed - 6.30 - 8pm (All ages)

Fri - 6.30 - 8pm (All ages)

BOOKING:

No booking needed as long as

1. You are a current boxer group member

2. You have completed a PAR Q health questionnaire for the current boxing season

3. You have an up to date boxers record card and have paid the yearly fee â€‹

COST:

- £4 per boxer per session pay cash at gym

or

- £10 per boxer for the week pay cash up front at the gym each Monday (this is NOT transferrable & non-refundable if non-attendance or if classes cancelled outwith our control)

Training Session
Running Squad

Open Gym  

These "open gym" sessions are ONLY for Carded Boxers, who want to do an extra training session. These sessions will have a coach or official present to supervise but there will be no structure or routine. Instead, these provide an open time for those members to work on or practice whatever aspect of training they want, or for boxers on what they have been advised to by the coaches / officials.
