Club History / About the Team

Falkirk Phoenix BC (Est

2019) rose from the ashes of Zetland ABC (Est 1980) and is therefore the successor club of Zetland ABC and its predecessor Grangemouth ABC (Est 1948) - all 3 of which FPBC club Chair Stevie Morrison has attended.

FPBC is a not for profit club and is owned / run by unpaid volunteers who have spent £1000s of their own money setting up and running the club.

The coaching team are ALL boxers or former boxers.

They have over 150 years boxing experience between them!

They have won 16 national titles between them and some have competed at international level for Scotland.

Two of the team have travelled the world to compete at the likes of the Commonwealth Games and World Championships!

All are qualified coaches.

One is an international star referee and judge.

All have PVG clearance.

All have child protection training.

All have 1st aid training

They ALL have families and careers but give up their time FOR FREE to run the club & coach!
